Reneé from 11 Eureka invites man’s best friend to her wedding day. So naturally, they must look the part… cue super-awesome doggy bow tie tutorial!

“Here at 11 Eureka are a bit obsessed with doggies! In my family there are 10 adopted dogs (I have 2, my mum has 4, and my sister has 4), so our weekend trips to Michigan quickly become a dog park – and I love it!

For my upcoming wedding we are allowing some of the well-behaved pooches to be a part of our big day and we also want to dress them for the happy occasion. We created these sweet bow ties and are now obsessed with how well they turned out!”

With some fabric cut-offs, a pair of scissors and a needle and thread, your pooch will be the top dog!

We all need to treat ourselves once in a while. So when a girls’ night or friendly gathering presents itself, trying new recipes is at the top of our list. So, cocktails, ladies?

Try a fruity favourite, perfect as both an aperitif and an accompaniment to a Mexican meal, by Californian-based chef, John Lee Simpson. And remember peeps, no treats before 12pm and be drinkaware.co.uk. Cheers!

Strawberry & mint margaritas

Serves 6

300g fresh or frozen strawberries

2 tbsp honey

240ml tequila

Half a bunch of mint leaves

Step 1: Fuse the honey, tequila and strawberries in a blender – add a little ice if using fresh, or a splash of water if using frozen.

Step 2: Garnish with chopped mint and strawberry slices.
