Tips for creating a winning pinboard
Ace the basics
Make sure you have a killer business account with a great profile image and description of your business (what makes your products so wonderful and unique), including your website.
Dazzle us with a strong cover
Your board should have a professional and eye-catching cover image that really showcases your brand.
Give your board a description that makes people want to click on it to discover more.
Check your pins click through to their source, be it your website, an inspiring blog, or a YouTube tutorial.
Tell us about your pictures
Give all your pins a rich description to let the judging panel know why you’re sharing this particular content.
How to enter the Mollie Makes Handmade Awards
Create a Pinterest board entitled ‘Mollie Makes Handmade Awards 2017’ and pin at least five pictures of your projects, bricks and mortar space, illustrations or creative services from your website or blog. Use the ‘Description’ box of the board to tell us about your business, and the category you’d like to enter. Then, invite us to view it by emailing mollieawards@ through Pinterest’s ‘Send Board’ button. Here’s an example.
If you don’t have a Pinterest account, enter by emailing all the info detailed above (attaching five low-res images) to mollieawards@.
