just received my copy in the U.S. Is there no free gift with this issue, or did mine just come without it?

I really loved this issue, however I was a bit confused with one of the instructions on the Cotton Tales softies by Lisa Foreman. Instruction number 10 says to pin the body pieces RS together all the limbs inside and then to sew around the edge. My question is: how can you stuff the limbs as it says in instruction number 12 if they have been sewn shut by sewing around the edge off the body pieces? I’m really confused! Please help!
