Buyer's guide: baubles

Inspired by the collecting baubles feature in Mollie Makes 33? Us too. Let us assist in adding to your collection…

Christmas is all about an abundance of baubles, or so thinks interiors blogger, Susana Oliveira, whose collection has inspired our festive decorations this year.

[Top row, left to right] 1. ‘It’s Christmas time all over the world…’ Take those lyrics literally with this vintage globe bauble, Rose & Grey. 2. Inspired by Paris, Molly Hatch created this Eiffel Tower decoration, Anthropologie. 3. Glass and white feathers bring a pure simplicity to what’s usually a gaudy affair, Cox & Cox.

[Middle row, left to right] 4. Antiqued glass adds a touch of vintage glamour with this set of glass and silver baubles, Toast. 5. Go bright with a fresh, quirky bauble, John Lewis. 6. Ruby red feathers and a glittery chest make this hummingbird decoration the epitome of festive cheer, Anthropologie.

[Bottom row, left to right] 7. Classic, colourful chic: these oversized, iridescent baubles look great on or off the tree, Plumo. 8. Pale beads in a simple star shape are perfect atop an understated tree, Bodie and Fou. 9. Classic shapes are made modern with the use of vintage sheet music in these paper decorations, RE.
