“Welcome to the 2016 Mollie Makes calendar! This year, we’re thrilled to bring you 12 months of prettiness from one of the team’s ‘most liked’ on Instagram, Emily Quinton. We’re extra excited about the matching calligraphy diary date stickers we’ve commissioned from Chiara Perano at Lamplighter London, too. The two complement each other’s style so perfectly, don’t you think?” – Editor, Lara Watson
How to make a DIY inspiration string
You will need:
• Bakers twine
• Mini pegs
Gather images or photographs that represent how you want to feel or what you want to achieve in the coming months. Try stamping tags with positive words or write down little goals. You might also want to find dried flowers or fabric scraps in colours that help you focus.
Go for a walk in the park and look for a small branch to hang all your treasures from. Paint it or keep it natural, then tie your items to it using bakers twine and mini pegs. Tie a ribbon to your branch and hang it up on your wall. Here’s to a happy, flower-filled 2016!
