Fabulous foliage*

Pantone’s 2017 Colour of the Year is Greenery, but there’s more than one way to fill your house with plants… Here’s how we’re embracing the trend this month.

Chloe Hall Illustration

Chloe Hall is a freelance illustrator and pattern designer. Inspired by nature and plants, she enjoys creating loose-line work and watercolour illustrations.

Her final prints are often based on the first illustrations she sketches, rather than being overdeveloped, ‘perfect’ designs. Chloe wants her work to feel fresh, so the people that buy it feel as though they’ve brought a little bit of the outdoors in.

Having always lived on a canal boat, she is constantly surrounded by nature. Chloe thinks spending time outside, walking and being surrounded by greenery and nature is so important, not just for our wellbeing, but for helping us to focus, and for sharpening our thinking and creativity, too.

Lauren Radley

Lauren Radley is a stationery, gift and homeware company, often inspired by the beauty in nature. You’ll find a whole range of gorgeously illustrated botanical designs on their website, including this Moroccan Pots print, featuring a selection of cacti and succulents in colourful terracotta pots. Each design is hand-drawn and painted, then printed at their home studio.
