Mollie Makes Handmade Awards – submissions open!

We’re looking for the creative stars of 2016. Enter via Pinterest to be in with a chance of winning a Mollie Makes Handmade Award and some amazing mentoring opportunities

At Mollie Makes, we’re incredibly proud of our commitment to showcase and support designers and makers in the creative community and inspire new talent. We love celebrating great craftsmanship and ideas, so we’re thrilled to be launching our third annual Handmade Awards. It’s our opportunity to celebrate all the talented people turning their passion for handmade into a way of life.

The Mollie Makes Handmade Awards are free to enter and open to residents of the UK and Europe. The closing date is 11.59pm BST on 22nd May 2016 and the shortlisted finalists will be invited to present to the judges at The Proud Archivist in London on Thursday 7th July 2016 – please keep the date free! We’re planning a full day of workshops and inspirational talks from the likes of Pinterest, Pavilion Books, Allison Sadler and the Mollie Makes team.

What qualifies as handmade?

Your items must be handcrafted by you/your team (other than entries for our new Handmade Champion Award). This means you haven’t tailored, restored or repaired them, or assembled them from a kit without substantial alterations to the original design.
