Mollie Makes issue 39

It’s the Mollie Makes bumper issue! Two free gifts and a brand new issue chock-full of spring and summer craft projects

This month Mollie Makes has put together a brand new issue that includes not one, but two pretty gifts for you to enjoy. As well as our regular project kit we’ve slipped in and extra gift of 6 fashion projects for summer. Oh how we love to spoil you! What’s more, inside the issue you’ll find five sewing and embroidery projects, three crochet tutorials and two knitting accessory designs by our favourite makers from around the globe.

Mollie Makes 39 gifts

The first, regular gift is a fabric flower brooch kit; we got a real buzz out of subscribers (who receive their issues early) sharing made-up flower brooches on Instagram and Twitter (#molliemakes) – we can’t wait to see more them no that the issue is on sale. The second gift is a gorgeous set of 6 DIY fashion project cards you can turn to this summer with full tutorial and step-by-step images on the back. Projects include a printed festival t-shirt, a bold hair bow, a simple upcycled skirt and more.

Mollie Makes spring wreath project

We haven’t even begun to tell you about what – and who – features in the magazine yet! Issue number 39’s spring wreath with crochet flowers was created by one of our favourite crochet designers, Emma Lamb. For this cover star, Emma chose a palette of corals, peaches and turquoises to capture the season’s fresh feel.

Also packed into the issue are must-make items like the plain blouse refashion project emblazoned with vibrant fabric flowers; a vintage fabric cushion for cool cats; the gorgeous upcycled book clutch by Chick Lit Designs; an oilcloth lunch bag to take on this year’s bike rides and lots more besides. Plus Bright Bazaar‘s Will Taylor curates the Living pages of Mollie Makes 39, filling ’em with his top interior picks before inviting us for a tour round his home. We also interview Tone Finnanger, the entrepreneur behind Tilda, while Tilly Walnes (seen on the first series of BBC2’s The Great British Sewing Bee) designs a quirky button placket exclusively for Mollie Makes readers.

Lots more besides! Enjoy xx
