Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

One of the leading selling events for contemporary craft in the UK, the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair attracts over 6000 visitors. It showcases contemporary craft to buy from over 160 selected designer-makers in: ceramics, glass, jewellery, interiors and home-wares, fashion design and fashion textiles, wood, furniture, paper, silver, metal, product design, print-making and more. Buy work directly from the makers while learning about the process, inspiration, materials and stories behind the work.

Cheshire Fibre Festival

Cheshire Fibre Festival

Five fibre artists from Cheshire are combining resources to create the Cheshire Fibre Festival as part of the North West Fibre Arts Trail, which encourages fibre artists from the North West of England to open their doors and showcase their work. Agrarian Artisan Designs, Crafts from the Dungeon , Eco-Stitch, Jenny Barnett Needlefelt and Yarns from the Plain have planned a day of crochet and needlefelt workshops and will be selling a range of luxury hand-dyed yarn and crochet kits.

Block Printing with Kathy Hutton Prints

Printmaker and tutor Kathy Hutton introduces different block printing techniques including Lino carving and creating quick and easy simple stamps for all abilities. The method is simple and with Kathy’s guidance you will learn how to create your own motifs, learn the skills required to carve your own printing blocks, and then enjoy hand printing your own stationery or fabric.

Fred Knits Crochet Sunburst Granny Squares

Flamework/Glass Beads Workshop
