You’re invited on a journey into the distinctly colourful world of Swedish fashion designer Gudrun Sjödén. Head to the London Fashion Museum on 25 April to see the ‘Gudrun Sjödén: Four Decades of Colour & Design’ exhibition and learn about her style and design processes.
Scandinavian colourama is the theme this spring at the museum, and from 25 April, a retrospective of Gudrun Sjöden’s journey from a small family business into a globally-loved design phenomenon will be on display. The display contains gems such as Gudrun’s original watercolours, sketches, early hand-written catalogues, vintage garments alongside pieces from the latest collections, fashion-show footage and behind-the-scenes at fashion shoots.
Don’t miss this inspirational design story unveiled through a vibrant show at the Fashion and Textiles Museum.
What’s more, the exhibition launches (Tuesday, 25 April at 12pm) with Gudrun in conversation with Polly Leonard, founder and publisher of Selvedge Magazine to discuss their shared love of textiles, followed by a book signing with Gudrun at 1pm.
