It’s that point in the year where the seasons are changing and so are our wardrobes. Luckily, Gudrun Sjödén has brought out several new collections for warmer weather, with a discount too.
Gudrun’s summer collection is inspired by Japanese minimalism, Indian handicraft and ethereal Scandinavian light – reflecting the Swedish home of the fashion and homeware brand. Step inside the company’s colourful, magical world to find clothes in a host of colours this summer.
The new collection features pieces made from airy cotton and cool linen – ideal for balmy summer days. We’ve got our eye on the Bindi cotton pants and embroidered cotton dress (in green, please). We wouldn’t say no to the Titli cotton blouse either, with its tassels and bold floral print.
… to night
As summer evenings arrive we want to stay cool but with an extra layer to enjoy chillier nights. Luckily, Gudrun has the Kimono jacket – the ideal wrap for evenings. It features graphical motifs such as stripes, circles and dots across the jacket – which are sure to make it a talking piece – plus stitched ties at the waist and handy pockets. We’re also loving Gudrun’s Cardigan in organic linen, which is also inspired by Japan and has lovely textured knit panels.
