Make your own pyjama bottoms
When it comes to winter craft time, it’s all about feeling warm and snug. And what better way to do this than by wearing a pair of your own pjs? This class is designed for those who have got the sewing basics down and want to get cracking with something a bit more complicated. You’ll learn all the skills you need to make some fancy pants pjs — like how to read a commercial pattern, to work with different fabrics, and to pattern cut.

It’s almost V Day so now is the ideal time to get making for your significant other or gal pals. Head to Manchester’s Northern Quarter for a night of themed crafting, where La La Crafts’ Amy and Lucy will show you how to create bespoke gift cards, to show the love on the big day xo

Project Craft — Iwako Dream Houses
Ever thought about your dream house? Ours has a ginormous craft room, a UV feature wall and Pomeranian pups frolicking in the ornate gardens. But we digress. In this kids’ workshop (sorry adults) Paperchase’s crafters will show your wee ones how to create the house of their dreams, using a selection of patterned washi tapes, colourful papers and their wildest imaginations. Beginners: The 2hr kimono
Budding dressmakers, this one’s for you. In this bite-sized workshop you’ll learn how to make a draped kimono in a mere two hours and leave with it ready to wear. You can choose from two different styles — batwing or box sleeves — and bring along a fabric of your choice to make it in. You’ll pick up all the tips and tricks you need to give your kimono a professional finish.
