At the moment, we’re focused on shopping for our winter wardrobes, so we’ve got the right clothing to snuggle up in next to a roaring fire, and to brave the wilder weather. Luckily, Swedish textile designer Gudrun Sjödén has created a Winter Wonders range.

It’s full of tactile, natural materials, like soft cashmere blends, alpaca wools, and silky mohair. The collection – inspired by Berlin – comes in muted shades, from dark plum, to misty grey. Its subtle palette is all about letting the materials speak for themselves.

Grab Gudrun’s urban parka…
This is the coat we want to wear on chilly days. In bottle green, please. The marled shades create a casual look, while the woven fabric produces a rustic feel. We’re going to add a pop of colour with Gudrun’s pineapple yellow alpaca gloves to complete the look.
… and head outdoors with your four-legged friend
Man’s (and woman’s) best friend deserves a treat too, so gift your furry friend with their own outdoor wear. Gudrun’s latest collection is inspired by a dalmatian’s spots. There’s the Voff Dog Jacket, which comes in practical cotton, with printed fleece on the inside, and reflective stripes on the outside. Or how about treating yourself to an item from the range? Choose from a spotted ceramic bowl, dog printed tea towels, and spotted mittens too.
… before a fruitful party
You’re invited to celebrate Apple Day in Gudrun’s store at 65-67, Monmouth Street, London. It’s a day of live music, seasonal treats and apple-themed delights from a local Swedish bakery. A good way to welcome winter!
