Fabric Friday: Autumn
We know it’s autumn when all we want to do is get logs on a fire, snuggle under a blanket and settle in for the night… in the day time, if the sun comes out, you might find us venturing out on a forest foraging sesh, but otherwise you’ll find us holed up with autumn fabrics making beautiful things… Today’s fabric faves are inspired by autumn walks…
Here’s autumn in fabric form for us… What do you like best about autumn?
Clockwise from top left: To market to market mushroom print fabric by Print and Pattern reminds us of the perfect woodland walk, foraging for nature’s treasures. The distinctly autumnal Flowerbed fabric by Lotta Jansdotter is goregously sparse. Bare branches and borders have their own autumnal beauty. The Tree Hearts fabric design by Holli Zollinger is from Spoonflower, and shows autumn leaves just as they begin to take on their autumn hue. Finally, the last leaves cling on on Lotta Jansdotter‘s Trees fabric. One sharp frost and those leaves are coming down.
