Crochet lampshades, pom pom mobiles, cross stitch scatter cushions and they’re all miniature! Take a look inside Eline’s doll’s house from her new book Eline’s Poppenhuis.
How much do you wish you were a Borrower right now? This doll’s house, kitted out from floor to ceiling in Eline Pellinkhof’s handmade creations and crafty trinkets is exactly the sort of dream home we’ve been pinning for. A while ago, Eline was tasked with decorating these quarters in her own style. “And I did! I made (almost) all the furniture myself. And now it’s a little book.”
Using small items such as popsicle sticks, small cans (used to make the black wood burner below) and leftover craft supplies, Eline’s turned this simple doll’s house into luxury accommodation for figurines. The decorations are made from scraps of yarn, textiles, paper, cork and clay and each projects includes a detailed picture and a list of materials you need to make it.
While Eline’s Poppenhuis is only available in Dutch, you don’t need Google Translate to draw inspiration from this book.
