But the star of the show is issue 102’s cover project – a tribute to the legendary Frida Kahlo in all her wonder and beauty. To honour her, the fab Sarah Matthews provided us with a beautiful papercut DIY that would look stunning in any home. We also pay homage to Frida in our Good Read, where Holly Jolley illustrates one of her iconic quotes and Sarah Dawson shares Frida’s story and passion with you all.
And, of course, this issue of Mollie is packed full of creative makes for you to get stuck into. Here’s all the projects featured so you can see what takes your fancy.

Makes for mindfulness
Issue 102 comes with its very own Makes for Mindfulness supplement to help you keep calm this winter. We’ve been focusing a lot on slowing down this month, and there’s no better way to do that than with meditative crafts.
The supplement features Anna Alicia’s DIY yoga mat, Hayley McKee’s recipe for a natural honey and herb cake, Anne Weil’s finger knitted trivets and Rosina Northcott’s crochet cowl. So there’s plenty of projects this month to keep your mind relaxed and your hands distracted!
Meet Hannah Shipway
For issue 102 we met the iconic Hannah Shipway in her studio/home in Oxford. Her pieces of pottery are sold near Mollie Makes HQ and we’ve been No.1 fans forever. In her interview, Hannah shares her music to make by, her passion for design and the patience it takes to become a pottery master.
Have a read of the interview in issue 102 and also check out Hesper Hawkins’ gorgeous mid-century home.
And lastly, this month’s downloadable wallpaper is this peachy print by Annie Dornan-Smith. It’s giving us all the positive spring vibes, and there’s more. Inside the mag there’s eight pull-out papers, beautifully illustrated by Annie to put a smile on your face.
