Issue 113 has hit the shops!

Mollie Makes issue 113

We’re nearly in December and we’ve already gone hardcore Christmas with issues 110, 111 and 112, so we thought we’d pair it back a little. Issue 113 is now on sale (pick up a copy online here) and it includes loads of wintery projects that’ll give you and your home a touch of handmade class. Tinsel and tulle for New Year and crochet and knitting for warmth – there’s plenty of projects that you can start on over your Christmas break.

Projects in issue 113…

Your free gift

This month’s gift is this little winter wreath banner kit by Sandeep Pawar. You might remember meeting Sandeep when she took over the Mollie Insta account (her handle is @planesworkshop) or from her autumnal mobile tutorial in issue 110. We loved her so much that we had to have her design a gift for you all. This banner is one of those pieces that will look fab hanging up in your home all season long and will make a nice break from all the sparkly Christmas decorations! Pick up a copy of 113 today and share your banners with us on InstagramTwitterFacebook and Pinterest.

Your December wallpaper

Amy Williamson has designed eight beautiful woodland-inspired papers in issue 113. She’s created a whole bunch of adorable little creatures including a sweater-wearing badger and dungaree-wearing bear. We’re giving you one for free as a wallpaper so you can have a new background for December. Download your foxy paper here.

Meet Carol Maxwell and catch up with Kezia

We visited some rather lovely women this month and the first is illustrator Carol Maxwell. Carol is the brains and designer behind Max Made Me Do It and, as fans of the brand, we were excited to look around her home. Pick up a copy of 113 to look around her gorgeous Victorian pad.

Then it’s time to catch up with our favourite graduate Kezia Hulse. We loved Kezia’s work when we saw it at New Designers and have been keeping up with her progress ever since. After illustrating a piece for 112’s Good Read and taking over our Instagram account, we thought it would be fun to see what she’s doing now. Read our interview with her in 113 and click here for a free background by Kezia.
