Due to the global outbreak of Covid-19 we are having to suspend Mollie Makes magazine production in April and May. We will resume our production schedules in the Summer. Your subscription will start with our next issue published and we will write to you to advise when you can expect your first issue. For more information during this period please head to: https://www.buysubscriptions.com/service-update
We’ve got some good news and some slighter sadder news for you today. Firstly, issue 118 is now on sale! It’s full of crafty inspo and gorgeous projects to keep you creative during these trying times. Sadly though, 118 will be our last issue for a couple of months. Like many other businesses, Mollie Makes is going through crazy times following the coronavirus outbreak, and has had to temporarily suspend publication during April and May.
That means we’re putting a hold on producing the mag and running and monitoring our digital channels for the time being, but we will be back! And when we’re back we’ll be better than ever with more projects, more interviews, more creative inspo, and championing those small businesses and indie makers we love.
For now though, we’ll leave you with issue 118 to enjoy. Stay safe and keep on crafting.
Projects in the mag

Your free gift
Just like the rest of the country, here at Mollie we’re in awe of the incredible work the NHS are doing at the moment. Issue 118’s gift, designed by the ray of sunshine that is Sarah Freeman, is a pom pom rainbow kit – stitch it as a tribute to them so you can craft and show your love! You’ll find everything you need inside, so get making, then hang it in your window to show your appreciation.
Meet Athena Cauley-Yu and Jessica Potasz
Finally, issue 118 includes interviews with two remarkable women. First up is stationery queen Athena. Based in Bath (which is just down the road from Mollie HQ), Athena has made the ultimate indie maker dream come true. She’s set up her own shop, Meticulous Ink, and trust us, it’s beautiful. We interviewed her about her journey from student to shop owner and it’s well worth a read.
We also interviewed the lovely Jessica Potasz otherwise known as Mama in a Stitch. We just had to interview her after our Editor Yvette announced her as winner of the Dedicated Indie Designer of the Year in The Crafties, Love Crafts’ 2019 craft blogger awards. Read about her knitting and crochet journey and get inspired.
You can pick up a copy of 118 via our app or online. We hope you enjoy 118 and we’ll see you all really soon. Missing you already!
