It’s the calendar issue, and it’s a good ‘un! In this issue, learn how to make a kitsch Christmas pom pom wreath, knit a polar bear, fold origami baubles, embroider a festive jumper and lots more. Look inside…
Mollie Makes calendar 2017
This year we’ve entrusted the curation and design of our calendar to none other than Teri Muncey of The Lovely Drawer. Whether you’re a sunshine-and-sewing or cocoa-and-crochet kind of maker, her 12 seasonal projects will help you embrace each month. What’s more, Teri’s designed a set of brush lettered organiser stickers for your diary or Mollie Makes calendar. We’re not wishing the time away but we cannot wait to hang ours on the wall!
Making a start on Christmas crafts

Not into making Christmas gifts this early? Keep things seasonal with an easy-sew tea cosy, stitch a puppet theatre (and the cast) for indoor amusements and fold paper decorations (baubles are not just for Christmas). Take a peek at the full list of craft projects below…

Meet Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan’s influence has spread so far, you don’t have to be into craft – or even into art – to have come across his work. We visited his Bethnal Green studio, where he works with his team of four, to discuss how he became one of the most successful commercial artists around. Meet him in issue 72, out now!
Mollie Makes 72 is on sale 13 October.
