Mollie Makes

Somewhere for the weekend?

Hello Friday. What have you planned for the weekend? No plans?

Well, why not consider inviting your pals over for a ‘crafternoon’. Whatever the season a crafternoon is the perfect time to get togther with your nearest and dearest and put the world to rights over pots of tea and cakes and most importantly it gives each other the chance to see what everyone is making. Which we love.  Why not set a theme for the afternoon * and get everyone to bring along their making stash - put it all in the middle for eveyone to dip in and play. Or a lucky dip!

Word has it that it is going to be sunny this weekend so get out your crocheted blankets and picnic garb and head to your nearest park or field. (*We like taking it in turns to think of quotes and sayings! ) Or why not meet up with friends at one of the wonderful sewing and craft cafes dotted around the country (we say dotted because we want MORE!).

We like Drink, Shop, Do in that there London. If you are in the smoke or fancy hot footing it over to King’s Cross we really can recommend. Tonight they are holding a Dot-To-Dot-To-Disco, now where’s my Oyster Card… Some of our favourites in the shop: Pac Man gingerbread, retro snacking at its best.

And finish it off with a nice cup of tea and a homemade macaron
