You’ll need:

• Clear polish for base and top coat
• Colour polish (we used Barry M Bright Pink)
• Gold glitter polish (we used Barry M Aquarium – Treasure Chest)

Step 1
Paint a clear base coat on each nail. This will fill in any lines and give your nail a smoother finish when you’re done. Now paint your main colour over the top. Leave until dry. We used Barry M Bright Pink, but really any colour would work with this tutorial. Choose a colour to match your party dress or brighten up weekday office wear with zesty shades.

Step 2
This bit it the trickiest part of the nail art tutorial – but it’s still easy! We used Barry M Treasure Chest, but any chunky glitter polish will work. Slowly build a curved silhouette of gold flakes over the lunula (or little moon) of each nail. This can take a little while depending on how chunky the glitter pieces are. Take care not to add too much polish when arranging the glitter.

Step 3
Once dry apply your top and final coat of clear nail polish over each nail and allow to dry. Ta-da! Your nails just got the party treatment in three simple steps.
