Create a spring embroidery hoop: Day 1

Create a spring embroidery hoop - day 1

Hello loves, have you heard? It’s day one of our spring embroider-along and we can’t wait to get going. From today until Friday 13th April we’ll release a tutorial on our website every morning. You can embroider along with us and by the end of the five days you’ll have your own spring-themed embroidery hoop, designed by the ever-so talented Lolli & Grace.

So let’s get started.

Today we’re creating a pretty darn stunning peony, in various shades of pink and with French knots to add detail. And remember, it’s only available for 24 precious hours, so don’t delay! Head back to the website tomorrow where we’ll be releasing the tutorial for day two – another colourful floral fix. Keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts too, where we’ll be announcing the release of each tutorial. Don’t forget to share your makes with us on social as well using #molliemakers.

This tutorial is no longer available.

Need extra a bit more help with your stitches? Check out our Library of Embroidery Stitches.

Can’t make some of the days? No worries. We’re all about second and third chances, so we’ll release the tutorials in full in two of our upcoming newsletters, on Friday 13th April (sign up by 3pm GMT+1 on Tuesday 10th April) and Friday 20th April (sign up by 3pm GMT+1 on Tuesday 17th April). All you have to do is sign up here by the dates mentioned.

Happy spring x

  • This is a lovely design and a MM SAL is a great idea! I’m not able to stitch along right now, but I will be saving the tutorials for when I can 🙂
