Moodboard Monday: Retro celebration
After last week’s vintage wedding ideas, this week we’re going all out for bold and beautiful colour with a funky retro look. But don’t feel the need to restrict these ideas to weddings, any celebration would be the perfect excuse to go to technicolour town with the accessories…
1. Totally love this retro daisy headband. Perfect for funky brides or bridesmaids, or even festival frolics! Available from Hair Sugar. 2. When it comes to bouquets, you don’t have to stick with real flowers. Some of the funkiest bouquets are made of brooches, fabric flowers, or even feathers. These feather flower bouquets will look amazing in the photos, and they’ll last for years as a special keepsake. Designed by Ginny at La Plume Ethere, Photography by Richard B Flores. 3. For the retro celebration, decorations must be bold and funky! Try these amazing giant paper pom poms from Pomtastic. 4. And forget boring boxes or frou-frou sachets for the confetti, try handing out these biodegradable confetti eggs by Jokey Yokey, and let colour rain down on the bride and groom! 5. For a head dress with style, keep it simple but with a fab dash of colour. We love this giant bow fascinator with bird cage veil by Joe from Red Bird Makes. Super cute!
